MN: The latest from Milanello as the recovery of Ibrahimovic and Kessie continues

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan duo Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Franck Kessie are continuing their recovery from their respective injuries ahead of the new season.

Ibrahimovic underwent knee surgery over the summer after suffering an injury during Milan’s 3-0 win over Juventus towards the back end of the season, while Kessie returned to Milanello after his duty at the Olympics with the Ivory Coast in Tokyo but suffered a muscle problem in training.

According to what is being reported by MilanNews, Ibrahimovic and Kessie’s recovery paths from their respective injuries are continuing. The Swede today had a personalised routine once again, while the Ivorian continued the therapies and work in the gym.

The rest of the team worked on the field at Milanello, with Monday night’s opening game of the season away against Sampdoria at the Stadio Luigi Ferraris firmly in the sights, but it seems they will make the trip without either Ibra or the President.
