MN: The latest from Milanello on Kjaer and Tonali as Bennacer recovers for Spezia

By Oliver Fisher -

Something that Milan fans thought was virtually impossible could soon become a reality, as the treatment room is almost empty at Milanello.

According to the latest news from MilanNews directly from the club’s training ground, Ismael Bennacer, Simon Kjaer and Sandro Tonali are very close to being back to full fitness.

Starting with Bennacer, the Algerian midfielder worked with the rest of the squad again during today’s session and therefore is fully recovered ahead of the trip to face Spezia.

Regarding Kjaer, the Dane is feeling much better and today he did part of the training session with the team and then continued his personalised work on the pitch. Finally, even Tonali is recovering and is close to seeing off a foot problem that he has.

There was no update provided on Brahim Diaz, but given he has a thigh muscle issue and Hakan Calhanoglu is now back (in addition to Rafael Leao showing he can deputise as a No.10), he will not be rushed.
