MN: The shirt number Camarda has chosen after Milan call-up

By Oliver Fisher -

As numerous sources are confirming, Francesco Camarda will also be in the AC Milan first team squad for the home match against Fiorentina tomorrow for the first time.

The fact that Olivier Giroud, Rafael Leao and Noah Okafor are all unavailable means that Milan are very light in attack and they have chosen to give the 15-year-old a taste of the big stage, after he got special permission from local government to play.

According to what is being reported by MilanNews, Camarda will wear the number 73 shirt. Before him only one other Milan player wore that number and it is another academy graduate: Manuel Locatelli.

Whether or not the situation presents itself whereby the teenager can actually make his debut in front of the home fans remains to be seen, but if he were to get even a few minutes of action he would become the youngest Serie A player ever.

    1. what will break his spirit if he ever sees this god forsaken blog of fans and their negativity 24/7 around the club he loves

Thank god he’ll never see this

  1. I am presuming Pioli has told him what to expect and not expect. Jovic will likely play the full 90 no matter how he performs. I can only see Camarda play if we are two goals or more up at 90mins and subs still available.

  2. They really need to limit squad numbers to 1-25 like they do in Spain.

It’ll also show how ridiculously big the squad sizes are when teams can’t stay within 1-25!
