MN: Theo Hernandez, Maignan, Reijnders and Pavlovic back at Milanello

By Oliver Fisher -

While the rest of the AC Milan squad are still in the United States preparing for the final Soccer Champions Tour game against Barcelona, Milanello welcomed four new faces today.

According to MilanNews, the French duo of Theo Hernandez and Mike Maignan returned to Milanello today, while Tijjani Reijnders is back after his vacation following the European Championship too.

Strahinja Pavlovic was also with them after his arrival was made official by Milan a couple of days ago. The four players will work with the staff that stayed behind at the training complex, while waiting for the team to land back in Italy later in the week.

When the whole squad are united then Paulo Fonseca will be able to better relay his ideas, especially given that the last remaining ‘friendly’ will be the Silvio Berlusconi Trophy which is a few days before the opening game of the season against Torino.

As a reminder, Milan made it two wins from two out in the United States as they beat European champions Real Madrid 1-0 at Soldier Field in Chicago on Wednesday night, and there were once again plenty of positives in display after the victory over Manchester City a week ago.
