The AC Milan players and staff are anxiously awaiting the results of the MRI scan that Malick Thiaw will undergo today after the injury he suffered last night.
As MilanNews recalls, it was in the 51st minute of last night’s defeat against Dortmund that Thiaw felt a shooting pain in his hamstring after chasing a man to the byline, and he will undergo tests today which will determine the extent of the damage.
Thiaw left San Siro this evening in pain and on crutches which is not a good sign, while after the game even head coach Stefano Pioli admitted: “I think we will lose Thiaw for a few games.”
The worst case scenario would be a complete tear of the muscle, which would require him to sit out for months rather than weeks.

these sort of injuries often simply happens by misfortune and could just as well happen at the training ground so i don’t think there is much reason to put any blame on anyone for that one but it certainly paved the way for our destruction.

he is injured because we cant rotate for sht. The kid is playing every 3 days 90 mins and let’s not kid ourselves, playing with a high line demands a lot of sprints and high intensity runs from CBs. Liverpool’s van dyke lasted one season when they won it all, after that he’s gotten a few injuries. We or Pioli only rotates when an injury happens. You guys all talk a lot but we know we play sunday league and be sore for days.
