MN: Tomori has convinced everyone – decisive week expected regarding his permanent stay

By Oliver Fisher -

The next week will be decisive for the future of Fikayo Tomori with Milan intending to make his loan deal a permanent stay, a report claims.

According to MilanNews, after the official purchase of Mike Maignan directors Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara will concentrate on signing Tomori permanently. The English defender has convinced everyone in the few months in which he has been at Milan, racking up 22 appearances between Serie A, the Europa League and Coppa Italia, scoring in the 3-0 win away against Juventus.

The option to buy is set at €28m and the club fully intends to exercise it. Chelsea will not grant a discount, but this week Milan should make the deal permanent anyway. The figure is obviously high given the complex current economic situation, but on the part of Maldini and his colleagues there is all the will to hold on to a young player for the future.
