MN: Tomori picks up where he left off – the defender has shown excellent preseason form

By Oliver Fisher -

After a near-perfect first few months at AC Milan, Fikayo Tomori has continued his excellent form into the preseason campaign.

As MilanNews writes, Tomori has been available from day one of preseason given he was not called up by England for the European Championships, and the benefits are clear to see. The 23-year-old has shown himself to be in razor sharp form in the six games played, and appears to be more than ready for the opening game at Sampdoria in eight days.

The Englishman stood above all in the friendlies while having a range of defensive team-mates, and his perfect assist for Giroud’s first goal against Panathinaikos shows the ever-increasing confidence that Tomori is playing with.

One of the most important qualities of Tomori is the constant commitment shown in every match, and he is looking more and more like a player that the management were right to make an investment on.
