MN: Tonali recovers for Milan’s clash against Verona – the latest on injured quartet

By Isak Möller -

Milan will face yet another tough test tomorrow afternoon as they will take on Hellas Verona away from home. Although the draw against Udinese was disappointing, the Rossoneri did perform in their last away game.

In fact, they are the strongest away team in the league with just one defeat since June of last year, which is very impressive. Meanwhile, Verona have done well on their home turf as of late and this makes the encounter interesting.

As highlighted by MilanNews, Sandro Tonali is the only player who has recovered from injury for Milan, ready to play from the first minute. Ismael Bennacer, Mario Mandzukic, Hakan Calhanoglu and Zlatan Ibrahimovic are still on the injury list.

The former two will be the first to return, in the next few days, while the other two will have to wait a bit longer. At this point, the Rossoneri will be happy with any return they can get, having struggled with injuries throughout the season.
