MN: Training to resume at Milanello on Friday – latest on fitness of four players

By Oliver Fisher -

Training will recommence at Milanello tomorrow after a break was given to those players not on international duty by head coach Stefano Pioli.

According to what is being reported by MilanNews, midfielders Tiemoue Bakayoko and Rade Krunic will continue their recovery from sustaining respective muscle problems with no estimated return named for them.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s recovery is progressing well meanwhile, and the Swede is doing some individual training to be available as soon as the season resumes against Hellas Verona on October 16.

Oliver Giroud is feeling much better and his back pain is easing. Tomorrow or Saturday he could train with the rest of the group and he should be available for the game against Hellas Verona too.

It is a boost to the depth that is available to head coach Pioli ahead of another crucial part of the early season, with only Alessandro Florenzi out aside from the aforementioned quartet.
