Rafael Leao will be looking to continue his recent resurgence when AC Milan face Lazio at the Olimpico on Saturday.
As MilanNews notes, Leao has come off the bench in each of the four games since the suspension of the season, scoring twice in 119 minutes of action to move onto four Serie A goals for the season.
It had been a difficult first season in Italy for the Portuguese starlet up until the break, but he is now continually demonstrating part of his potential, which in the past few months had been all too rare.
There have been questions about the 21-year-old’s future at the club and whether he may be loaned out or even sold, but Milan must now carefully evaluate the performances of the former Lille star.
Should he convince more and more, the club could offer him an important role again next season under Ralf Rangnick, who looks set to become the new manager. At the same time though the good performances catch the eye of other clubs, so much so that Milan could easily secure a return on the investment made last summer.
