MN: What is filtering from Milanello ahead of Fiorentina clash – Ibrahimovic crucial

By Isak Möller -

Milan will have to pick themselves up after the elimination from Europa League, as well as the defeat to Napoli at San Siro. With the top-four race getting tighter, they need to bounce back straight away.

The Rossoneri will take on Fiorentina tomorrow evening and as reported by MilanNews, a clear message is filtering from the team at Milanello: transforming anger into positive energy and react on the pitch.

The game against Man Utd could have ended differently but the absences made it hard for Milan, who also will be without Leao, Rebic, Calabria, Maldini, Romagnoli and Mandzukic tomorrow. All the weight, attacking-wise, will be on Ibrahimovic’s shoulders.

It seems the Swede is the only one who can change the negative trend, which has seen the Rossoneri squander countless chances. He may not have 90 minutes in his legs, but his presence is necessary from start as there are no alternatives.
