MN: What Rabiot told Juventus about his future as Milan remain lurking

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan’s interest in Adrien Rabiot is still alive and they are likely to remain in the running until after the European Championship when the player will make a decision, a report claims.

It was MilanNews who first reported earlier in the month that Milan had lodged an enquiry with Rabiot’s entourage, given that his contract with Juventus is expiring and there is the need to add another midfielder. He would be available on a free, and brings a wealth of experience.

According to the latest from the same source, the French midfielder let Juventus know that he will only make a decision after the end of France’s European Championship ends. So, as long as Les Blues are in the competition, he doesn’t want to do anything other than think about winning that.

Milan remain on the sidelines, ready to intensify contacts with his mother-agent Veronique, especially if Rabiot were to then inform Juve that he wishes to try a new experience at a different club.

A bit of pessimism emerges from Turin, as per the source, with Juve reportedly reluctant to pay a commission important to the mother-agent. However, anything can happen, as evidenced by last summer’s one-year extension.

  1. Meanwhile Juve are replacing Rabiot with Thuram, who is better and has way lower sallary plus huge space to grow. Why cant we go for Thuram ?

    1. Who says that Thuram is better than Rabiot? Rabiot is a starter for France at the Euro when Thuram didn’t make the team. Rabiot is playing at a high level for years, for PSG then Juventus, in European competitions, and he has major international experience.

      1. They are both valued the same. But Rabiot is already established player. Thuram is just starting. We will regret in couple of years missing on Thuram. He has top potential.

    2. Juve is even worse than us when it comes to management. Only a fool would let rabiot go on free and if you factor in their shîty midfield the whole thing is beyond baffling

      1. Big words coming from someone who’s team doesn’t even have a striker…way to.point out the obvious genius, why do you think guintoli is signing Juve’s second new midfielder and move on to Koop while Milan are still “thinking” about a striker, tell your fabulous mgmt not to wait too long or else man u will snatch the signing from under your feet

          1. Then I guess you won’t be needing zirkzee…and unless you have proof we’ll be prosecuted again bar previous offenses, you’ve got nothing on us

          2. @juvefan – “and unless you have proof we’ll be prosecuted again bar previous offenses…” Come on, you know you guys are getting prosecuted again within 5 years. It’s about as inevitable as a sun rise.

      2. I would hardly call a team that has Giuntoli as worse than our management which is run by a banker in Furlani lol.

I don’t like Juve – BUT they are “cooking” thus far in the transfer market: Douglas Luiz, Thuram, DeGregorio, possibly Calafiori, Sales and most importantly Motta…

While we have signed zero thus far and we haggle over every player fees, prices, commissions (take your pick there is always an excuse) and risk losing Theo and Mike.

Ya sure – Juve is definitely worse than ours 😂😂😂😂

        1. They really are..just because they signed one player, in a shady deal btw, doesn’t mean they’re better than us. Motta was a nice catch I’ll give them that.

Degregorio isn’t any better than schesny so no improvement there
