Samuel Chukwueze will not be flying out to the United States to meet his new team-mates after his arrival is officially confirmed.
After undergoing his medical and fitness checks yesterday, Chukwueze was spotted leaving his hotel this morning en route to the club’s headquarters.
He will sign a five-year contract and have his customary photoshoot before the club announce him later on today, it is presumed.
However, as MilanNews report among other sources, Chukwueze will not join the rest of the Rossoneri squad in the United States for the last preseason match against Barcelona because there is not enough time to get the bureaucratic issues such as a visa resolved.
Instead, the Nigerian will remain at Milanello working alone while awaiting the return of his team-mates. His first action in a Milan shirt will therefore take place on 8 August against Monza at the U-Power Stadium in the new Silvio Berlusconi Trophy, as per the source.
