AC Milan seem to have made the decision to part ways with Yacine Adli, a report claims, but only on a temporary basis.
MilanNews write how Adli has been reduced to a marginal role this season with just one start in Serie A to his name, and that is unlikely to change in the final part of the season given every game is decisive in the top four race and with a Champions League semi-final to come.
It is not easy to settle into a new country at a new club with new team-mates and different expectations, but the fact Adli has made just five appearances suggests he has failed to convince Stefano Pioli so far.
Between now and the end of the season, the Frenchman will have seven games available to round off his season in the best possible way, but at the end of the season he may well have his bags already packed.
A loan deal seems likely at this stage and Salernitana are interested in signing him, with Paulo Sousa their head coach. He trusts Adli, so much so that he fielded him in more than 30 games at Bordeaux between 2019 and 2020.
It feels like a deal that suits everyone, because Milan could further test the qualities of the player in Serie A, while there is also the possibility that Pasquale Mazzocchi could come the other way and be the new deputy to Theo Hernandez.
No loan. Sell him and keep a % of his future transfer if you’re worried about a future contingency. There’s no need to continue this “will he/won’t he” saga with Pioli for years to come. Pioli does not have a place for him in the team. Sell and be done with it, clearing room for transfers in that will be used by our manager in the rotation.
Very simple. Paulo Sousa has a better set of eyes for a footballer than Stefano Pioli. No big deal. It happens.
Anyone that thinks that 5!!! chances with one start are enough for a player to show his qualities, needs to get their medication refilled.
Yes. Pioli who helped develop and launch the careers of Leao, Theo, Brahim and Bennacer clearly doesn’t have a good eye for footballing talent.
It is just the same case with hauge. Fans hype him and angry if he dont play. Look now , he even fail at bundesliga. Adili are just another hauge
Yeah, Pioli with one Serie A titles, and also groomed a lot of young talents, is inferior to a nameless coach who haven’t win anything. Typical new opportunist fans lol
Good luck to Adli.
Sousa and salernitana are probably his level. He came from a club in Ligue 1 that was fighting not to get relegated, Salernitana will have the same goals next season too. It’s fitting
You are wicked 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣
I dont understand why ppl always blaming Pioli. There’s only 11 players with different roles + 5 subs in a game. The ACM position have three, one fluorish as in Diaz, while CDK and Adli lost the competition. Pioli decides the system and system can’t be changed just to accomodate one player and sacrificing the other players.
First of all..I trust Pioli. Leao, Tonali , Kessié were struggling and Pioli gave them trust and time to grow. Now all of them are great players. The same applies to CdK. I have 100% trust in him and in Pioli.
When it comes to Adli..I trust even there Pioli. He is on daily basis with Adli..see him training almost every day. So there are certain reasons why he is not playing. Maybe attitude, maybe not enough effort, maybe lack of quality. Pioli knows.
Btw..I don’t understand why ppl see Adli as a CAM while his main role at Bordeaux was a typical CM – midfield playmaker and not CAM as Brahim or CdK..
