AC Milan’s attack is set to look different when the 2024/25 season gets underway with Olivier Giroud leaving the club, but there are other players who have uncertain futures.
As reported by Milan News, the futures of Luka Jovic and Lorenzo Colombo are yet to be defined, whilst there could be the arrival of Joshua Zirkzee or a different striker.
Milan have been reliant on Giroud in recent seasons but Zirkzee is the priority target to be the main goal-getter next season. Milan are not the only team interested in the Dutchman though, so a move is not expected to be completed very quickly.
The wide players at the club such as Rafael Leao, Samuel Chukwueze, Christian Pulisic and Noah Okafor seem sure of their places in the squad, but the same cannot be said for the centre-forward role.
Luka Jovic is coming into the last year of his contract and he is expected to be the backup again, but if Milan were to sign two strikers, his future would not be certain.
There is also Lorenzo Colombo returning from his loan spell at Monza, and he will want to fight for a regular place in the team under a new coach.
I wonder why aren’t we interested in Mikautadze. 13 goals and 4 assists this season(played only half season), last season 23 goals and 8 assists. Young, with potential and pretty cheap.

Because the Georgian’s name is difficult to pronounce. They still can’t say Kvara’s name right…. Two Georgians would be overload for Serie A. LOL!!!
For example Jonathan David stats in the same league, but better/more scoring team.

1 strong proven central forward we need and Colombo have some experience in Serie A. No mention that Okafor could be used as CF.
We only need, strong defensive midfielder and aka Botman central defender.
