MN: Zlatan Ibrahimovic trains alone at Milanello for the third day in a row

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic is undergoing personalised work for the third day running in view of Sunday’s derby against Inter.

As La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews.it) noted on Tuesday, the difference between the Rossoneri with and without Ibrahimovic has been highlighted.

With the Swede on the pitch, Milan have an average of 1.5 goals scored per game vs. 0.9 goals without him. Furthermore, the Rossoneri have an average of 0.5 goals conceded per game vs. 1.4 goals without.

With Zlatan having been unfit for Sunday’s 1-1 draw against Hellas Verona – a game where his presence was sorely missed – it is understandable that attentions have now turned to this weekend’s derby.

According to MilanNews.it, Ibrahimovic carried out personalised work on the field this morning at Milanello for the third day in a row. The Swede therefore should return to the group tomorrow, but there should be no doubt about his presence in the derby.
