MN24: Marseille willing to offer €20m for Milan forward but the offer is insufficient

By Oliver Fisher -

Rafael Leao is continuing to attract interest from abroad as Marseille have made an offer for the forward, according to a report.

The latest from MilanNews24 states that Leao should remain with the Rossoneri barring some interesting offers that may arrive, but there is a club in France – namely Olympique Marseille – who have a concrete interest in the 22-year-old.

Marseille are ready to try and convince Milan to sell the young forward with an interesting offer, as the Ligue 1 club would be willing to offer €20m for the former Sporting CP star. However, it is not a figure that tempts Milan into selling, especially given they paid €30m to sign him from Lille.

It can be implied, therefore, that the management have little intention of making a loss on their investment and so Marseille will be forced to raise their bid to change Milan’s mind and continue in the negotiations.
