“He’s a player we want to keep; I’ve spoken to him twice. If necessary, I can go and talk to him again; I never get tired.
“He’s incredible; he’s a key figure for us. I’m not telling you he’ll play every game, but we want to count on Modric for next season. The board has spoken to him, I’ve spoken to him: I think I’ll have him back in a few days, but now he needs to rest after the World Cup.”
