Luka Modric has outlined some requests to the AC Milan management in order to consider staying for another season.
Modric is out of contract at the end of the season, a campaign that he has sadly played his last game in. The cheekbone fracture that he suffered during the draw with Juventus on Sunday will rule him out for up to eight weeks, meaning that the midfielder will now target a return for the World Cup.

While Milan possess an option to extend the deal by another year, it has always been reported that Modric is the one who ultimately holds the final say on whether it is used, given that he will turn 41 next season.
Modric wants ambitious Milan
Matteo Moretto gave an update on Modric’s future during a video on Fabrizio Romano’s YouTube channel, and he confirmed that the Croatian has asked for some guarantees.
“We’re now entering the decisive phase of understanding Modric’s future. Luka wants to think carefully about the path he wants to take towards the end of his career. Now that he can’t play, the Croatian can focus 100% on his future,” he said (via MilanNews).
“Modric wants a competitive Milan. He’s asked for technical guarantees from Milan for next year, meaning that Milan will likely be playing in the Champions League, and so Modric wants a Milan that can compete.
“Then, obviously, he’ll also have to make some personal and private assessments. The Croatian is still evaluating things. We’ll see if Modric will be, so to speak, satisfied by Milan in terms of his ambitions.”

Trust us Lukita, we all want to see an ambitious Milan.
Modric has to keep pushing this narrative, because what’s the point of just being arsenal season after season.
A competitive milan needs a competitive coach from early so that he can direct the market purchases.
Sure, let a 41 year old who has maybe one year left of playing determine all of our decisions…
Makes perfect sense.
He could play two more seasons, he is a childhood fan and he cares for Milan and wants to leave the club in a good state and shape. All that aside, he is
a(n) BDO winner and one of our best players, bro…
Modric was a great player but he’s going to be 41. We got a very good year out of him most likely because he was motivated for the World Cup. Whatever the case, you don’t build your club around a 41 year old who has 1 season left.
Naturally, we won’t build the team around him, nobody isn’t saying that by far.
” We got a very good year out of him most likely because he was motivated for the World Cup. ”
How to say one doesn’t know Modric at all without saying one doesn’t know Modric at all. 😀 😀 😀
Why is he asking for guarantee before he sign. If he didn’t want to sign he should get the hell out of milan. After all he is not pushing milan attack during matches. And he is old milan don’t need old men players to be giving us conditions.
