Calls from Zlatan
Sportske Novosti (via MilanNews) report that the Swede – who now serves as an advisor to the RedBird boss – called Modric twice and reiterated that everyone at Milan wants him to stay.
Luka has consistently reiterated in recent weeks that he would only make a decision after the World Cup, but now that a few days have passed since Croatia’s elimination, he will soon make his decision official.
His family will certainly play a key role in his decision, with his daughter being a member of Milan’s youth teams. Milan are waiting, knowing they’ve done everything they can to convince Modric to stay for another year.
