Yesterday, AC Milan’s technical director Geoffrey Moncada went to Spain to scout a match between Sevilla and Getafe, and a meeting was held today.
Moncada’s visit to Spain was not a summer holiday, instead, it was a scouting mission for the end of the mercato, with less than a week remaining on the summer’s action. It was initially reported that he was heading for the Sevilla game against Getafe in La Liga, but more has trickled out.

This afternoon, a report stated that Getafe had put a move on hold for Christantus Uche, due to potential involvement from Milan. Despite everything being agreed for an exit, the Rossoneri are supposedly considering an offer.

However, it seems there may have been other players watched during the game, this time from the opposition. According to Jose Gordillo, a Marca journalist, the Diavolo director had a meeting in Seville this morning, as MilanNews writes.

I’ve actually still got faith in Moncada as a scout. He’s one of the big reasons we managed to build a modern-looking team. While Allegri and Tare are obsessing over “Serie A experience”, centre mids and poachers, we need to look consider attacking football.
Obviously you’ve been missing the last couple years. Allegri and Tare are the only reason why this team may accomplish something this year, not mancava, furlani who have been destroying this team. Also don’t know what’s wrong with trying to get players with serie a experience, when there are very few players that can adapt to this league right away. Just look at Giminez, cant even touch the ball in this league.

Juanlu? Lukabakio? That would be a big upgrade… And one I presume would be very expensive.

Where would Lukebakio play? We already have Pulisic who is not playing right wing. Juanlu instead of Jimenez makes sense.
