One of the topics that has been discussed in AC Milan’s meetings with Fabio Paratici is the role of Geoffrey Moncada, a report claims.

La Repubblica (via MilanNews) confirm the updates from Sky and La Gazzetta dello Sport by stating that Paratici is getting closer and closer to becoming the new sporting director of Milan. The CEO Giorgio Furlani met him in London with owner Gerry Cardinale yesterday.

The agreement is one step away, but there are still some issues to be resolved. In fact, yesterday’s meeting highlighted a bit of distance on some details and among these, rather surprisingly, is the position of chief scout.

Paratici wants to bring Sampdoria’s chief scout Lorenzo Giani with him, who in the past was a scout at Juventus and Tottenham alongside the director. However, this is a role that Geoffrey Moncada currently does and will continue to do, despite being technical director by title.

The two sides are still working with confidence towards an agreement, and the feeling is that all will be resolved. Paratici would initially act as an external consultant until July 20, when his suspension for the capital gains case will end. Then, he can take up the official position of sporting director.

    1. Betul. Memang sudah saatnya REDBIRD DAN ELLIOT MENJUAL MILAN. GANTI JUGA SI CARDINALE,CEO FURLANI BESERTA DIREKSI LAINNYA. PERCUMA PARITICI jadi direktur teknik, kalau SI CARDINALE,CEO FURLANI, REDBIRD DAN ELLIOT MASIH MEMEGANG SAHAMNYA MILAN. SUDAH SAATNYA MILAN DI REVOLUSI

  1. Getting rid of all the Italians is not just Moncada’s sin, Maldini and Massara, Furliani and even Scaroni are guilty of, it shows the incompetence of all of them, their are certain things that can be explained to the owners if they don’t know Uefa and Calcio rules regarding the lists.
Maldini should have explained to them properly than an Italian core is needed for discipline and stability, maybe he might have, but the owners are ignorant, especially Cardinale, who knows virtually nothing outside of New York…

    1. Maldini never had a chance to really work with Cardinale. Not enough time. And no, Maldini did not have to explain anything to anyone. If you make half a million euros a year working as a technical director, you are responsible for educating yourself and enriching your knowledge on-your-own.

    2. Lmfao you are the incompetent one here. Do you know why we didn’t have Italians before? I’m sure you don’t so I’ll explain. We didn’t have them bc of the growth decree. The owners went foreign bc it was cheaper plain and simple. Maybe you didn’t know but the current management were petitioning to bring it back. Milan didn’t even use it to their advantage smh only juve did when they brought in Ronaldo.

  2. In the past, man like Moncada, Ibra if they know that next season would be a revolutionary, he should resign from his position. He’s no capable anymore. If you want to sign a man like Paratici, Milan should knew it that he have the Power.
