Alvaro Morata has once again hinted that his exit from AC Milan was a messy one, after getting his first goal involvement for Como.
After weeks of speculation about whether he would be allowed to join his compatriot Cesc Fabregas at Como, Morata finally got his wish as his 12-month loan at Galatasaray was eventually terminated a few months in advance.

The former Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid man took to social media at the time to criticise the Turkish club for not keeping their word, while he has also previously hinted that he was unhappy at the way Milan acted too.
Post-retirement reveal?
Como conceded a 93rd-minute equaliser at home against Genoa which was certainly a sickener for Morata and his team-mates. The Spaniard spoke in a press conference (via MilanNews) after the game, and he was again asked about a difficult 2024-25.
How do you arrive at Como, after a difficult year?
“If for you a difficult year is winning three cups… I don’t agree. Last year at Milan I won at the Bernabeu in the Champions League, I played some good matches, we won the Super Cup beating Juventus and Inter.
“It wasn’t a bad year. It’s true that the way I left was bad, but I can’t answer that. Maybe I’ll talk about it when I stop playing [retire].”

It is no coincidence to me that Calabria a true milanista, Bennacer who never caused a problem and Morata a consumate professional all left on bad terms in Jan.

I would add it still amazes me that “fans” here were so happy to see Theo one of our few world class players leave.
Yes we all know his form was poor, but surely that is when you trust a good manager to get him back on track. Still in his prime, form is temporary, class is permanent.
Be interesting to see how Modric puts up with the circus. Though at least he has a stable manager in Allegri (not that I’m a huge fan of his)
Morata has been running from himself long before Gerry took over.
You know something isn’t right when a player like Morata raises concerns.
Unless people believe that a player who has won:
– La Liga x 2
– Champions League x 2
– Scudetto x 2: 2014–15, 2015–16;
– the European Championships with Spain (the summer before he joined)
couldn’t ‘cut it’ at Milan.
Morata is all of the evidence we need that there was something very wrong at the heart of Milan last season.
Not Maignan, Not Calabria, Not Theo. Not whatever other players that people want to blame and hate and insult.
It started at the very top with the toxic honours.
And it included the toxic and low quality coaches they hired last season.
Rather than backing the players who had delivered success the ‘fans’ on here turned on them and insulted them.

He changed his mind 4 times in not even year. First he wanted to play for Atletico, then Milan, after this Galatasaray and not even 6 months after he got into an argument with Galatasaray as he wanted to join Como suddenly. Stop propping up this loser.
I think it is in poor taste to admonish someone because of mental health issues. Especially on this platform.
Sad reality is that many young men take there lives every day.

We get on Santi for missing sitters. Morata missed a wide open goal every game. Here’s some stats for all you dummies Morata 13 games 5 goals. Santi 5 goals 2 assists in 14 games. If Morata is so good then why not Santi?
Very rarely are you the voice of reason but on this you absolutely are. The three amigos above will spin anything as Milan’s management is terrible but you point out that Morata has left three clubs in a bad way now, probably partly influenced by personal stuff but still this guy is a mess.
