Paulo Fonseca has substitutes Alvaro Morata and Noah Okafor to thank for bailing out AC Milan in what was heading towards being a dire first game in charge.
Milan found themselves two goals down after Malick Thiaw failed to clear one off the line and Duvan Zapata headed in to double the advantage for Torino, but a late fightback saw them earn a 2-2 draw.
Morata got his first Milan goal to give the home fans something to cheer. Yunus Musah had a shot blocked, then Tijjani Reijnders let fly and the Spanish striker was on hand to redirect the Dutchmanโs attempt into the bottom corner.

Then, in the fifth minute of added time, Milan got an equaliser. Musah wound up a cross from the right side and the Swiss forward had made a central run, firing past Milinkovic-Savic with an excellent volley.

Super okafor
Thiaw should never play a game for Milan ever again.
I hope the team improves quickly because I saw no ideas nor identity on the pitch. I’m aware it’s the first game under a new coach but we were abysmal. Forza Milan!
