Massimiliano Allegri is reportedly already disappointed with Napoli as his main target for the defence, Mario Gila, is nearing a move to AC Milan.

Just a week ago or so, Gila appeared to be just one step away from Napoli, as the Partenopei had reached an agreement with the player. However, the failure to close the deal with Lazio stalled the move, resulting in an opening.

That is an opening that Milan have made the most of, now just one step away from the player after making an offer close to Lazio’s demands. In fact, they believe the gap can be solved early this upcoming week.

Milan haunting Allegri

Speaking about the situation on Fabrizio Romano’s YouTube channel, Matteo Moretto confirmed that Gila is getting closer to Milan. He also added that Allegri has been left disappointed by the whole ordeal, as the Spaniard was his main request for the defence.

“Napoli needed to sell first, but they had got very far in their pursuit of Gila, reaching a total agreement on the financial conditions. However, they never closed the deal with Lazio. Now it’s Milan’s turn.

“Clearly, for Allegri, Gila was one of the very first objectives for the defence. Napoli always thought that the defender would be Gila too. So, in short, the fact that Gila is very close to Milan has certainly upset Allegri’s plans a lot.

“Allegri is disappointed to have missed out on him,” he stated.

  1. Milan offered fix 22 million and probably this transfer will soon realize because Lazio requested 25 fix.

Its 100 for first two arrivals, so probably we can expect new arrivals and soon some departures.

  2. In last few days, that’s what we suffered from. Plan A to plan D end in 8 spot and below in table.
I do say a word, when the owner is involved, things never remain that same.
I wish Candinale to continue like this.

  3. Well done Milan I wish you disappoint max allegri they way he disappointed us for not qualifying champions league I wish him a lot of disappointments
