Manchester United are looking to part ways with Marcus Rashford this month and in recent days, they have held talks with AC Milan. According to a report, the striker has been offered on loan to the Rossoneri.
The injuries of Rafael Leao and Christian Pulisic made it very clear that Milan are lacking depth up front, while Alvaro Morata simply hasn’t scored enough. As such, the directors have been looking at potential attacking reinforcements, with PSG’s Kolo Muani mentioned.
According to the reliable Matteo Moretto, another name has been offered to Milan in recent days: Marcus Rashford. Man Utd are looking to part ways with the 27-year-old on loan with an option to buy this month and are also willing to part part of his hefty salary (around £15m per year).
The English side have held talks with Milan, offering the player’s services, but nothing more has happened on this front according to the journalist. As such, for now it remains just a suggestion and if one had to guess, the Rossoneri won’t proceed.
If anything, Sergio Conceicao would need a striker who is good in the box, complementing Morata who likes to drop down and participate in the build-up. Rashford doesn’t feel like the best option for that.
Wtf are we supposed to do with rashford? I’ve no problem saying okafor is better than him atm and probably in the future.
Rushmore has better eyes in goal than Okafor. Stats say so pal
Aha. Cute. If he’s oh so good and has such great stats then why is United, 14th place, looking to offload him?
Logic states they should use a player with those stats to climb to eu spots, right?
Noooooo, Thank You. We need a sure thing, not a jigsaw puzzle.
He is actually a great player just not in form.
People call any bum a great player nowadays.
… “not in form”…
A better description would be that he was a great player until he got his big fat new contract, and then he went into cruise control mode, got way too interested in his off-field lifestyle, while losing interest in working hard at his game.
Amorim decided he had the wrong attitude to be a winner and has left him completely off the game day rosters.
He’s now ManUre’s very expensive problem and boat anchor, no team needs a player like that
Four years is some dip in form!
There are three things, he is a good player, and him been in Italy and Milan with 3 English players would be good for him, and he could reignite his career .
But does he have the hunger and desire to work hard and seek redemption and so be a good player like earlier in his career, then you look at his salary, it’s way above Milan’s budget, and honestly his performance and attitude of late don’t deserve that, his talent never deserved 15 Million, that amount of money is one of the reasons that made him complacent, lazy and arrogant, and after the loan Man u will demand a hefty fee, but if he can reduce his salary, and impress for 6 months with desire and hunger, then Milan can take him for a much reduced fee and much reduced salary, but if Milan could, it would be better to take Dominic Cal Lewin , that would be better and cheaper, and he is more hungry .
Man Utd should even pay Milan to take him away. All he can do is run a little fast. Bad in everything else with over 300000 per week salary. Another EPL benchwarmer.
Here we all are…..waiting for Rashford to fulfil his ‘potential’…….it’s a no from me. Why must we be linked to strikers who don’t score
300k per week is mind-blowing for the minimal contributions he has been making at United. 300k per week lol
Rashford could be a good player for the right team, its not ours, we do not have space for more lazy, we have enough already
You got me laughing very hard. No room for more lazy player.
Bruh, why would we want this. He’s literally a less effective version of Leao. He’s a left sided forward with a lazy streak, who can’t even be bothered to show up anymore. And on 300k a week. Absolutely not. If you’re willing to spend even 1/3 of his wages, cool, go get Ricci or Jonathan David secured for the summer then
You never know what’s going on, but it boggles the mid why we aren’t more active for Jonathan David. We have strikers who can’t score and he’s free….I’ll go and pick him up and drive him to Milanello…..
Ricci, David, Bellanova….perfect Mercato
Agreed, all make far more sense than bringing in a washed up superstar in leaos position who can’t even put in work for his boy hood club
🤣🤣🤣
We already have our own Rashford, we don’t need another.
Rashford is a waste of space. He would prefer to challenge governments over free school meals than exercise is profession. He also has no acknowledgement of the badge he currently wears but only has taste for the pay cheque.
I would like to see Camarda given a fair chance rather than the services of Mr Rashford.
This would be a good signing. His good form is excellent, it’s just his recent coaches have been using him wrong. He can play across the front line and would be perfect for counters.
He’s no different than Morata or Abraham. Only one can play at a time. If Morata and Abraham are struggling, there is no reason to think Rashford would do any better. Milan, as a team, needs to be improved. Any striker can thrive with a quality team behind them.
He’s vastly faster than Morata and Abraham. Can legit play left or right wing in addition to starter, making him a viable backup to all positions (not considering wages at this point btw just talking football). Has better trickery than both and can score goals as much as those guys. Plus Abraham ain’t lasting the year here with us too. Only thing is I’m not sure how he’d fare with Italian defences and tactics. But on his day the boy is very very good.
Jesus. It’s always the coaches fault with you. Never the players. He’s had many coaches now and has had more bad years than good. Not to mention he’s just another spoiled brat player with a poor attitude. We already have Theo, we don’t need another one of those.
As yes K. It’s always the players fault never the coaches with you. See how easy it is to do that? You’re only saying this because your boyfriend Fonseca got fired. Sad day for you I know.
Why don’t you bring substance to the conversation for a change. Always ridiculing and insulting people who, based on your track record, have far superior footballing intellect than you. Didn’t you say we shouldn’t make judgements not even a third way through when everyone and the professionals thought that our trajectory was going downwards with Fonsy? And we did decline further…until even the halfway point when only you were holding out for god knows what. And didn’t you say everyone thinks they know better than the professionals, yet the professionals have said what we’ve (not you) have been saying all along and that was Fonsy wasn’t doing a good enough job? So the professionals, not you, are correct…we needed to change coaches because it apparently does have an impact on player performance. Haha 😂
No thanks. Remember ya’ll, only one striker can play and score at a time. Whether it’s Morata, Abraham, or Rashford, there will be one striker on the field struggling to get any service from Milan’s playmakers.
There is zero reason to bring in Rashford
Once again i said to Milan, don’t waste your youth talent, give them minutes playing, dont wast transfer funds, like kalulu, kerkez, CDK, or please learn at oled era like Viera, KLuivert etc. Optimized Milan’s talents
Origi fiasco season 2 loading….lmao!
We would be better off getting Mason Greenwood
Rushford will be a good rotatation for Leao
No, thanks.
This is something like a ‘poisoned pawn’ on a chess game, that is to say, something you should in no fvckin’ way accept, especially when offered by a powerful adversary.
Hell no. Keep your own junk at bay.
He lost himself along the way. Beeing coached by that dutch bald head I’m not suprised.
He would break many anckles in italy thats for sure!
We don’t need Rushford we are struggling with bad manner players theo, leao we can’t add another one this guy never listened to his couches will never pass the ball to his teammates even if it’s cl final all he wants is to score for himself even if he isn’t in right position to score antoni nusa from Leipzig or fofana from lion one of that two will be great
He had two really good seasons out of 10. He can’t hit a barn door. Defenders figured him out ages ago. Just a bum now.
