Moretto: Milan accelerate for two teenage talents including €11m midfielder

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan’s work to try and procure the best talent around Europe shows no signs of stopping and they are pushing ahead with what would be an exciting double swoop, a report claims.

Milan have moved in the recent past to sign players such as Pierre Kalulu and Malick Thiaw who have made a first team impact despite limited experience, while the likes of Dariusz Stalmach, Milos Kerkez, Jan-Carlo Simic and Alexander Simmelhack show investment in the youth sector is also a priority.

According to what is being reported by Matteo Moretto of Relevo among other outlets, Milan have the talented Matija Popović ‘in their grasp’. The 17-year-old can play anywhere across the forward line and 20 goals (plus five assists) in 24 games for Partizan’s U17 side last season.

Not only that, but the journalist adds that the Rossoneri are pushing to sign another teenager in Schalke 04 midfielder Assan Ouédraogo, who has an €11m release clause and has already broken into the senior side.
