AC Milan appear to be moving closer to the signing of Yunus Musah as the distance with Valencia over transfer fee has been reduced, a report claims.
Milan are aiming to rebuild their midfield after the club-record sale of Sandro Tonali for Newcastle United and with Ruben Loftus-Cheek having already arrived. Tijjani Reijnders should sign this week, but a final complimentary piece is sought.
According to Matteo Moretto of Relevo, the distance between Milan and Valencia by Yunus Musah is ‘small’ and it feels as though ‘a little push’ from the Rossoneri is all that will be needed to get things over the line.
The last ok will come from Peter Lim, the owner of Valencia who has the decisive say when it comes to signings and sales, but the move appears to be ‘very much on track’ as things stand.
The 20-year-old USA international made 33 league appearances for Valencia last season, amassing two assists from a box-to-box midfield role.
I’ve seen the reports. Very close to closing the deal. Valencia want 20m. Milan at 18m. Player already agreed to terms. Great move I think. Only thing is the Player will have to be careful with yellow cards… he had ten last season. I’m sure he will do great though.
If we sign him, what about dominguez..
If we sign him then Dominguez isn’t happening this season. I think it’s a missed opportunity but Musah has a big potential and there must be a tactical plan he fits into
If milan is going to play with 4-3-3, what about pulisic?
Is he going to play on right wing?
Isn’t he supposed to play as a no 10?
Is milan going to switch between 4-3-3 and 4-2-3-1 depending on their opponent and the players available?
I believe this season he has more options to change the formation even between matches and depends like you said who will be milan facing, only thing that would be missing is Deep Def Player maker Num 6 like Brozovic style when u player 433
will need to see how the new players will sync together.

I think the idea is for Reijnders to play as the regista with Musah and Loftus-Cheek as the two mezzalas until Bennacer is back, then Benna will be the regista and the other 3 will battle for the 2 mezzala spots together with Krunic and Pobega. With Reijnders as the natural substitute for Bennacer if he cant play/need to rest. We’ll basically have 2 players for each spot in the midfield 3. From what I’ve seen from Reijnders he could also play in front of two sitting midfielders if Pioli wanna go back to 4-2-3-1 since hes so good with the ball, have a great shot, and great passing even in the offensive third. Very versatile player.
Gonna be very exciting to see if Pioli change to 4-3-3 and use Pulisic on the right flank, or stay with 4-2-3-1 and use Pulisic as a no 10.
Such a bad choice… bad player with rocks for feet. Please go for Gravenberch or Dominguez instead..
