Moretto: Milan offer top salary and starting spot to try convince Bundesliga duo

AC Milan have activated talks with the entourage of two Bundesliga players that they hope to sign on free transfers, according to one journalist.

According to Matteo Moretto of Relevo, Milan have opened talks with the agent of both Eintracht Frankfurt defender Evan N’Dicka and Borussia Mönchengladbach striker Marcus Thuram in view of their deals expiring later this month.

The journalist states that the Rossoneri know that they are ‘starting at a disadvantage’ after the break in talks over the duo, but ‘they are willing to try to convince’ the pair with the project that they are pitching.

Among the incentives put forward by the new Milan management are a salary among the top earners in the squad and a starting role in the team for next season.

However, at the moment it seems Roma are the big rivals for N’Dicka and PSG have moved for Thuram, so there is strong competition to beat if Milan are to pull off what would be a statement double signing.
