AC Milan, this summer, have been a strange party to watch in the mercato. So, the latest information about Mattia Liberali is no shock.
From an incoming perspective, Milan have been touch and go, indeed. They have eventually gotten deals done, but there have still been some interesting moments where it seemed things would fall apart.

The same can also be said of outbound players. Theo Hernandez’s departure was certainly an interesting few weeks, whilst the situation of a few first-team players is still puzzling.
Late renewal attempt
One of the most interesting cases, though, has involved Liberali, who is due to move to Catanzaro. However, the Rossoneri have tried to secure a deal with Torino since, and even seemingly they have tried to make amends, as Matteo Moretto reports via MilanNews.
“Milan hasn’t yet given the green light to Liberali ‘s free transfer to Catanzaro, but in the last few hours, the parties have been working hard to unblock the deal.

“Milan would like Liberali to renew his contract before leaving, but the player continues to say no to the extension because he believes Milan have acted too late and he doesn’t feel the right connection to renew.
“Liberali only wants Catanzaro, and after the latest discussions, the deal should be unblocked in the next few hours.”
In a summer where everything has been rather ridiculous, this somehow takes the biscuit. Perhaps, this could also be damning for a future relationship, if there was ever a possibility.

Damn he acted like Jashari.
One leaves for nothing, one leaves for almost 40 mil.
Wild to see how much he hates Milan
Milan late to the party again. After the pre-season last year where he shone against madrid, one would have expected that they would have tied him down. Not doing so showed they had no belief in the young lad. He understood the message. Now they want to milk him for money, by offering him a new contract which he has done well to refuse.
it is said he has a small frame an would not make it professionally. Well, the same was said of franco baresi, when he auditioned for Inter. We know how that story ended. If Liberalli has the heart and guts, being of small stature aint no crime if he has his wits about him.
If he dont want to renew , better let him go to serie B club catanzaro. Dont keep unhappy player
He can get out already. Milan shouldn’t keep any unhappy player.
He is a left-footed No 10 that plays behind the striker specifically in a 4-2-3-1 , so it is difficult to accomodate and naurish his talent and potential in a different tactical system like 4-3-3 Allegri is trying now. More importantly he asked for a transfer and do not want to renew. I think it is better to let him if he insist.
Boy dont renew contract. Club not respect you and gave you time for play. Dont be stupid like Camarda was.
I don’t know what you expect, Liberali is 18, Camarda 17. They are children and its unfair to expect them to be starters for a club who are competing for top positions, Especially in a season where Milan is not in CL competition and space is limited.
I see it the same way, and it was even more true last year with the players at 17 and 16. If the relationship can be repaired, and Tare/Allegri have none of the tarnish of hard feelings on them, a loan out to Torino would be the best way for Liberali to show he has the skills right now for Serie A, just like with Camarda at Lecce.
What kind of youth player denies extending a contract for milan to play in serie b?
The smart kind…D.Maldini should probably have paved the way
One with his own mind?
He wants to play football, not be mentioned as a talent for 6 years and then get 0 chances. What do you mean why?
The kid really disappoints me here guess we have another Locatelli situation waiting for a move down the road in a couple of years to Juventus or some other adversary of ours.
“ In a summer where everything has been rather ridiculous” is a pretty extreme perspective. I mean what “sagas” are different from what been playing out at Inter or Juve. Some things have been very straight forward, modric, Ricci, Alegri Estupinan to name a few
Good job Liberali! Make.your own path like kerkez done before. See you on top against us.
Clearly he doesn’t love Milan. In this case it’s better our ways goes separately.
I think liberally 8s wrongly adviced. There is knly upside in being still tied to milan, it means every summer he has a chsnce to iml back to top team.. or be in that visual…. and stiol the playing time he seeks in serie B. So i dont get it…
