AC Milan could receive a welcomed boost to their transfer fund shortly, as a former midfielder is set to move to Napoli, according to a report.
Selling youth talent is always a risky game, but when it is done right, the selling club can laugh all the way to the bank, and this could be the case for Milan this summer, with Marco Brescianini set to move to Napoli.

According to reports from Matteo Moretto on his X account, the Partenopei have an interest in the midfielder and are looking to bring him to the club this summer as part of Antonio Conte’s attempts to rebuild the squad.
Whilst the deal is being structured as a loan, with an obligation to buy, and the journalist claims that ‘it is as if it were a permanent transfer’, meaning the Rossoneri will be seeing some money from the deal.
Morretto has stated that the fee for the transfer is around €11 million, with a €1m loan fee, which would mean the Diavolo will receive €5-6m of the transfer due to a clause inserted in Brescianini’s move to Frosinone.
With Milan still looking to add several players this summer, the additional funds will be very appreciated, especially with reports suggesting that sales need to be made before further signings are made.

If it’s a loan with obligation, Milan won’t see any money until next year.
This guy used to be our youth captain similar like Zeroli now. Im glad his career is going up.
The likes of Bakayoko and Vranckx and both were such worthwhile signings…..
It ends up that constantly signing players in the same positions as youth players isn’t conducive to their development.
Was it too logical to bring him back? I mean he is good enough for Napoli, and Juve reportedly wanted him, but he isn’t good enough for us?
He is from our academy and would help with the Italian quota.
Get rid of Pobega, Adli and RLC.
Not really, Napoli and Juve last season finished below Milan. They want Brescianini just for backup, not key player. We need to sign key player, so we didn’t need him right now
Napoli seem to seek eljif elmas replacement who already go to RB Leipzig.
@Sempre Milan
Can you please do an article on who are our ex academy players out there aged 23 to 30?
We seem to have such an issue meeting the national and academy player requirements.
I’d love to know what other players like Marco Brescianini are out there that could be bench players and meet these requirements.
