Moretto: Milan ‘still in the running’ for Sporting striker after new contacts – the latest

AC Milan feel they are still in the running for the Sporting striker Conrad Harder, according to a report, despite fierce competition from other clubs.

It was only a few days ago that the Harder rumours first emerged, but now it seems Milan are truly evaluating a move for the player. Perhaps not as the big reinforcement for the No.9 role, but instead a name for the future.

Overall, the striker pursuit has been rather confusing for Milan this summer, from many different targets to exit rumours for Gimenez and suggestions that two strikers could be signed. The interest in Harder, however, appears to be concrete.

Milan keeping talks alive

According to Matteo Moretto in his latest YouTube video, Milan are maintaining contacts with the entourage of Harder. They still feel that they are in the running for the 20-year-old Danish international, even if the competition is fierce, and an offer could perhaps be on the cards.

“Let’s talk about Harder, a 20-year-old striker from Sporting Club. Milan have had new contacts for him in the last few hours, and they feel that they are still in the running, which they are.

“They know there’s plenty of competition, as two other clubs, not just Rennes, are interested in Harder. Sporting are looking for an exit option for him. The player wants a new experience and is trying to determine whether it’s possible for him to wait for Milan and then join them.

“Otherwise, he would choose other career opportunities. However, Milan are still pursuing Harder and are maintaining contact,” he stated.

  1. How many CF are we linked with? If Boniface fails medical we should go for Kean. Pay the money and sign him. Otherwise we have to pay 15m commission to Vlahovic which is highway robbery. Muniz from Fulham would be a good buy, his contract expires at end of this season.

  2. 28m for player who only play 28 times + 6 goals with only 1 national team cap, that’s funny. Its hard to believe
