AC Milan have been forced to order additional tests for Victor Boniface, as the usual medical tests didn’t provide them with enough guarantees, according to Matteo Moretto.
Boniface arrived in Milan yesterday and immediately began the medical tests at La Madonnina clinic, followed by athletic tests at another clinic. Those are the usual proceedings for a new signing, but it didn’t end there for the striker as he also underwent orthopaedic tests.

So, after reaching an agreement with Bayer Leverkusen over a €5m paid loan and a €24m buy-out clause, can the deal be considered done? Not yet, unfortunately. According to Matteo Moretto on YouTube, Milan have ordered ‘in-depth tests’ to be carried out today.
Doubts arise for Milan
Indeed, as explained by the journalist, the initial medical tests (despite the additional orthopaedic tests) were insufficient and didn’t provide the Rossoneri with the guarantees they wanted. As things stand, therefore, the deal could go either way.
“Yesterday, Boniface arrived in Milan at 3 pm. He went to the La Madonnina clinic, where he underwent a first series of medical tests. Then, he did the athletic tests as well as additional orthopaedic tests. Everything ended around 10 pm yesterday.
“Despite this process, Milan haven’t decided whether to proceed or not. There are doubts about Boniface’s physical condition. Milan want to see things clearly and will further investigate the situation
“Today, Saturday, Boniface will undergo further, even more in-depth tests before deciding whether or not to proceed. However, this first series of medical tests, which lasted from 3:45pm on Friday until 9/10pm, certainly didn’t provide the guarantees that Milan expected.
“We will see if there will be any positive news today and if we can get to the point of signing the contract. I reiterate that this is a matter closely linked to the passing the medical tests: today, Saturday 23 August, an absolutely key day.”
I think they should just go for him or regret it later. But I think a lot of this is overblown by the media.

If the player missed 2 out of last 6 years and spent half of last season in the medical room maybe it is wise to perform additional checks and find out the state of his body 100%. Their are serious issues that need to be addressed, his preseason was not sufficient and managed gently, he has had multiple ACL issues, has had multiple muscular problems, has not been fully fit for at least 3 seasons, and another issue is age, we all know he is more than 24 years of age, he was not born in Europe, so his age is dodgy, another thing is his overall attitude and behaviour , his moronic celebrations, that urban vibe, sagging of shorts even when he is playing, we should just move on, it’s better we go for Tolu Arokodare, he is healthier, bigger , technically good, and he scores goals..

It is 10M € to loan him for a year if you include his salary and Milan was haggling for a single million for 2 months.
Personally I have no issues with Boniface who is a good player that is unless he was to arrive semi injured. I wouldn’t have minded Vlahovic or Højlund either if the deals was right or for that matter if we had signed Lucca so I was and is open to various scenarios.

This is how medical tests goes, if there are doubts, further tests are done or you move on, simple as that. I’m not the biggest fan of this ownership but they should and better do the right reasearch than just jumping in without any caution taken.
