Samuele Ricci could end up leaving AC Milan just one year after arriving, with the Rossoneri reportedly willing to listen to offers.
Ricci was the first signing of last summer, joining from Torino in a deal worth around €23m. He made 34 appearances in his first season, providing four assists, but it’s clear that he didn’t have a very consistent campaign. As such, he didn’t impress massively.

This has certainly made things a little tricky for the 24-year-old, who now has to prove himself to Ruben Amorin. The gaffer has made it clear that everyone has a chance during the pre-season, but on the flip side, sales cannot be ruled out either.
Offers incoming?
According to Matteo Moretto, sharing an update in the latest Fabrizio Romano video, Ricci is one of the players who Milan fans should keep an eye on. Due to his characteristics, which are perhaps not a 100% match with Amorim’s football, he will be under scrutiny this summer.
Furthermore, if an interesting offer were to arrive for the Italian, then Milan would definitely consider it. Amorim’s final verdict will play a huge part overall but the big update from Moretto, as such, is that an offer could be considered either way.
It’s perhaps something that the player would consider as well, seeing as he’s currently not at the top of the pecking order in midfield.
It should be noted that Milan would lose one of their association-trained players if Ricci were to leave, which would hurt them from a squad-rule point of view.

very unfair
Life is unfair, he was given positive treatment and time last season but failed to show slightest positive increment.
Big clubs do not give you second chances, we want to be one, then we accept this.
Now let’s be smart and sell him somewhere where he can grow, put in a fixed buy back for him and future sell like Real does
yes.. if they keep useless RLC, Musah, Bondo but sell him,
those 3 is even worse than Pobega
Please sell musah, RLC and retain Ricci
How is it unfair King? Are you comfortable playing him if he lacks quality? He completely flopped this season?? Like why is moving on an underperforming player unfair? I am stunned by the complete comfort you all have with players who never improved Milan’s play. Play well or you may be moved on! that’s fair, no? Ricci has to play well to stay! if not…then what? Keep him anyway?? Sounds nuts to me.
entire team flopped last year? Pulisic haven’t scored since January… should we sell him? or Jahshari who was equally “useless”?
Pulisic scored 10 goals last season King! Without his goals Milan would not be in the Euro League, all while being played out of position and mostly injured. And he is proven to be a WC attacker. I’d keep him all day, because of THAT!
Jashari??, yes he was completely useless and also would not be missed if he left.
I said since winter if you can’t read that’s another issue…
Modric, Rabiot aren’t physically that strong… Ricci and Fofana are the closest thing to what his tactics utilize. Jashari closer to Rabiot from what I have seen (playstyle, not skill-wise)
With another “revolution”, losing Leao (before you get to typing anothe BS, he needs to leave) who was a corestone for us in the last 5 seasons… too many changes are bad for the team and it shows
Arsen Wenger that knows more about football than every person here combined has said that 6 transfers where around half are starting player upgrades is as close as to not distabilzing the team. With Goncalo and Gila already guaranteed as starters, as well as Puli’s partner in CAM that’s already 3. wingback will be needed and another CB… no need to distabilize another area which can show its worth with a proper system and coaching…
Liberalli was also named arrogant and full of himself then cried for him not coming back, you people want Modric level performances from children…
Absolutely none of this deflection gibberish answers the question about Ricci. The guy was mediocre and YOU think it’s unfair that he is one of the players potentially sold?? why? why is it unfair that a below par player is sold?
cause you can’t read doesn’t make my writing gibberish…
Not one of this relates to your point about Ricci. Ok, I won’t call it gibberish, how about…ahh, rambling topic change??
Don’t mind all these FIFA players. If U watched the team last season well enough, almost all d players flopped aside rabbiot and modric to some extent. That shud tell U it’s not the players but the stupid system in place. Am not saying ricci is world class, but he is good. Allegri swapped his position cos he won’t be able to displace modric. Ricci is far better at shielding d defence and creating with his long passes and that’s a profile we need in this amorim’s system. Why go out to buy another player for that role again who won’t gel first season and we clamour for him to be sold? Jashari is totally like rabbiot, he can’t shield d backline as he loves to roam and and run with the ball. The best thing is to give the two another chance this season in there actual roles. Not change d squad constantly like playstation
bro Hammzzy thank you… I don’t think I was saying anything crazy… these kids hiding behind online accounts think that reality is poison and can BS whatever they want
Bro don’t worry this dude thinks Fofana is the goat.
Fofana was a useful player.
@ King, you said it unfair that Ricci is being considered for sale. That is crazy considering the season he had. He probably expected it. but not you?
@ Krunic….False information. he isnt the goat…you said that Ricci is a better option. You were wrong…yet again.
I was expecting you start now comparing since you have no arguments to defend him, at least no factual ones.
Pulisic c and Jashari both had injuries, so they do deserve another season, if not same procedure, Pulisic if I remember had good start of the season.
This guy had no injuries, played a lot and failed. End of the story.
Besides Amorim decides, and that’s the end of it. If he has done that, I think he made his first positive move in my opinion
what facts bro? which player did well last season? that was my point
Not Ricci…you said it was unfair that he should be sold….I simply asked you why is it unfair? And you can’t even answer that.
The problem is he wasn’t played consistently but when he did appear his performances were below average. And average is the key word – he doesn’t seem to excel at any one particular area: goal scoring, assists, creativity, tackling, passing, controlling the tempo. It’s something of an identity crisis. If Amorim can redefine his role and get the best out of him, fine. If not, sell and upgrade.
Consistently played out of position is not consistency. It’s just confusion. He did so well during d preseason playing Infront of the defence only for allegri to change his position during d season. I won’t rush to judge him and jashari as bad untill I see them flop in there actual positions. Estupinan on d other hand flopped in his actual position and lost his place to a kid. He I can judge
@King do you think that Estupinan’s exit is unfair too?
@Savio maybe post 1 more comment? your “jokes” aren’t landing atm
So you aren’t going to answer the question? Thought not!
bro calm the f down you are not him.
I’m calm as ever King…How is it unfair that Ricci is potentially sold?
bro you mentioned me in 3 posts when no one was talking to you… “calm as ever” is not how you are behaving. and since I can’t copy-paste my answers to each of your sloppily constructed comments, look around and you will find what my real thoughts are…
sad little keyboard warrior
Sell him he not player for big club
Rossi, do you know how a player gets to be played consistently? SOLID PERFORMANCES! Like Rabiot for eg right?? We need to stop making excuses for Ricci. His lack of game time was due to his lack of quality performances. he played 33 matches! Not 5 (Bondo)….33 matches, and 11 of them from the start!
yeah 20 of those were under 25🤡
only 11 games were fulltime
Yup no facts, just excuses, typical clownery!
bro you are a coach potato that has done nothing close to what these kids are doing… only clown here is you
King, Why don’t you just say you have no clue what you are talking about….it’ ok King. I’m sure you’ve been wrong many times before!
I really pitty those that have to interact with your insuffurable self in person… you just stay in your delusional headspace, I feel sorry for you
I’m only insufferable to the clueless King…just the clueless. Still deflecting are we? How about this; Ricci is great, and Milan should build the team around him! Happy now King!
bro I mentioned many times the reasoning, you just wanted to act like the $hit and got some reality check… the way you comment says it all… crawl down into your parents basement you tool
Maybe you found the answer then, you just don’t want to see it. 33 matches coach tried
Musah, Bennacer, Bondo = SELL
Fofana, Ricci (Ardon), RLC = SELL
11 terrible games. there fixed it for you.
I would give him another year. Remember, Tonali first year was not so good
Jose Mario, Haugue, Destro etc also had terrible first seasons, but never improved, sadly.
Enzo save yourself… 😂
Ezo is just fine, it’s you that needs saving, but from youself.
unoriginal, forced, not funny… 2/10
Hilarious….King even you can’t make sense of your own statement!
2/10? Come on King it was better than that!? 3/10 maybe?
50 comments on a Ricci article… Makes sense now.
LMAO 🤣🤣
Make it 51
Typical of Bilan get rid of quality Italian players to keep foreign crap.
Bilan are an irrelevance to the Italian national team and quite frankly what’s the point of having them in Serie A.
Bilan will do nothing this year.
It’s ok, it’s ok…we have the Musahs and Fofanas to help us, plus don’t forget, we got Chukwueze the stick man back now too.
Seriously, like you said: getting rid of quality Italian players.
Yep, they are becoming a completely irrelevant club.
Quality Italian players?
Hello my friend. Look at he national team, and come and speak again. We all would love to see those quality Italian players in Milan, and fill in the gaps with what you call foreign crap.
Behave yourself, as an Italian where the whole world considered you crap for a century, you should know better. Shame
There are a several quality Italian players around, unfortunately, none of them play for Milan.
F*** this club! Selling Ricci??? Their decisions are just getting from bad to worse.
Which ones, in my books these guys are acting it.
All the right decision thus far to be honest
Last season we signed a DT that doesn’t fit our attackers. This season we signed a DT that doesn’t fit our midfielders or defenders. We keep going from one extreme to the other.
Sell that bum.
I’m not for or against Ricci. Amorim has to decide whether he has a role to play at the club or not. BUT, I would check the Italian contingent and make sure we check all the boxes. Not like we’re swimming in Italian talent.
I think we have some home grown talent, we need to sign Zaniolo, that will do for now
No one is for or against Ricci. 33 matches 11 starts and mediocre performances. Why is this a discussion?
Playing as a box-to-box by Allegri is NOT his role. Go and watch more of his games and u understand better 🙄
oh hi MN, you are right, he is not good enough to be box to box. whatever his role was, he was bad at it.
He should leave if he wants to save his career. Atalanta would be ideal for him.
A loan would be helpful. Maldini was 100% correct, players have no idea what it is like to pull on that Milan jersey. A completely different animal Milan is….This is not Torino!!
A strict coach with a direct approach، if he’s not convinced by a player physical or tactical attributes, he doesn’t hesitate to exclude him from his plans, regardless of nationality or market value. Ricci possesses high technical quality, letting him go simply because he doesn’t suit a coach who might not stay for many years is strategically short sighted.
