Tijjani Reijnders has completed his medical tests for Manchester City, as reported by Matteo Moretto and Fabrizio Romano, with only the official announcement missing now.
Reijnders left the Dutch national team camp earlier this morning to travel to Manchester for his medical tests. According to Fabrizio Romano and Matteo Moretto, the midfielder passed all of the tests and will soon be announced as a new Man City player.

As added by Moretto, the fixed base of the transfer is set at €57m, while there are an additional €14m in bonuses. €7m of these bonuses are easy to achieve, while the rest is a bit more difficult. As we have previously explained, the bonuses will help Milan strengthen the 2025-26 financial year.
Nevertheless, many Milan fans feel that the figures aren’t high enough for a midfielder who scored 15 goals last season, without taking penalties. Not to mention that the Etihad side were in a hurry to close a deal ahead of the Club World Cup.

One does not simply turn down such an offer especially for a player who is great, but not world class. Especially at the age of 27.
I wish him all the best because he was loyal and gave his all and I wanted him to remain but for that money I understand.
This just goes to show too if anyone offers anything over 70m for leao sell him. If he wants to leave and the motivation he showed last year it’s time to give him up. We’ve been waiting 3 seasons now for him to turn world class and it hasn’t happened so he could go too. It all depends on how smartly we use this money and build a motivated actual team instead of careless individuals.

this issue isnt Tiji leaving for as little as previously reported, it is obviously a cascading of a few things all happening at the same time.
A bad season for how good this team is on paper, coach fired and hired a coach who is seen as past his best, a SD that cannot be called the best in the league, before announcing Tiji is gone there is already concrete reports of many main stay players leaving and the reported replacements for everyone isnt encouraging.
This is a lot of negative to take in just one go. But this is the worst things to hear about your club. So I am forcing myself to not drink the negativity around these things, even when I know it is all bad. I do that because no one knows how this team will look like at the end of the window.
The only good thing isnt even going to bring tangible guarantees on the pitch and that is moving fast before the window is officially open to fire and hire a coach and restructure for a new SD. There are no tangible things I can see that has convinced me that I will see improvements and more than improvements excitement. This is just sad and depressing day after day.

There are no few others, Reijnders and Pulišić are literally the ONLY 2 players that can be called decent out of a dozen players purchased.

This is the problem when you finish 8th – you need a full rebuild (probably 3-4 core positions) and without CL money you need cash to do this rebuild. hopefully Leao and Puli don’t leave. We need a world class box to box DM and a RB and LB for sure.
The problem with this is we aren’t replacing him and Modric is turning Milan down from what I’ve heard. So we couldn’t even get him for one season for cover.

Sad to see Tiji go. Really liked him as a player. Frankly Milan management can’t seem to get out of their own way to put together a meaningful winning project, which it’s safe to say was probably never the plan to begin with – just status quo.
