This summer, Youssouf Fofana will be sold by AC Milan with the Frenchman unable to find space in the team.
In the past few seasons, Fofana has been an up-and-down character within the Milan team. Managers have regularly started with him. However, for one reason or another, he has lost favour and fallen behind or into a rotational role.

Ahead of the summer, it has seemed increasingly likely that he would leave the Rossoneri and now that seems to be the case.
Fofana to leave Milan?
According to Matteo Moretto, who spoke on Fabrizio Romano’s YouTube channel earlier today, the Frenchman is not being considered by the new head coach, so he is free to leave, as MilanNews relays.
“Meanwhile, Amorim’s new AC Milan is carefully evaluating the situations of some players already in the squad. I’d like to talk to you about four players in particular, three youngsters [concerning the renewals of Christian Comotto and Francesco Camarda] and one established player who was signed for €20 million a few summers ago: Youssouf Fofana.
“They confirmed to me that his agents are looking for an outgoing option and tell me that AC Milan is ready to listen to offers. In fact, Fofana isn’t central to Amorim’s plan; we’ll see which club can actually sign him. There are no advanced negotiations at this time, but the player is on his way out.”
Interest in the midfielder is pretty high and teams from across Europe have been keen to take a look at the player. However, there have been no offers to arrive just yet, but that is understandable with the World Cup still going on.

Ok, so according to Transfermarkt players that should probably leave have a combined value of 174mil:
Rafa Leão
€50.0m
Santiago Giménez
€18.0m
Samuel Chukwueze
€18.0m
Ismaël Bennacer
€8.0m
Pervis Estupiñán
€12.0m
Ruben Loftus-Cheek
€8.5m
Youssouf Fofana
€23.0m
Yunus Musah
€14.0m
Warren Bondo
€6.0m
Fikayo Tomori
€17.0m
So if they just sell them for their value they would have little lower than 200mil. That way it doesnt suprise that they spent 70 on Ramos and why it was reported that Cardinale approved 200mil supposedly for transfers. Lets just hope they will do a better job then previous seasons cause there are certanly many gaps this team needs to fill.
This is not a final list, we should also sell Terracciano (the player, not the goalkeeper) + Saelemaekers or Athekame + Ricci or Ardon as well. 250 million euros for these 13 players, it’s not an impossible mission…
I think both Ricci and Jashari shoulf be given a chance to repay trust. But yea, 200mil should be more then enough to give Amorim decent team with good backups to be competitive in italy and EL
I respect that but at least one of them should be sold in my opinion. We’ll need 5 midfielders now (Hjulmand, Rabiot, Modric ?, Ricci/Ardon + a new MC if they sell both Musah and Bondo, Bennacer must finally leave the club, that goes with saying) + Comotto (or Zeroli), that SHOULD be enough…
This isn’t FC26 career mode, how many from them have offers and how many wants to go to turkey or saudi? If they sell half of the players from that list it would be a decent job
I’m not saying they will sell them but most of these players are in a 20mil range and could easily go to a club like Sunderland, Leeds, Lyon or something like that. Just like Milan overpayed for Ramos- its a agent job to find his player a club that wants him and for a player valued around 20mil its not a problem getting a new club but there is a problem of player not accepting because he could be going to a “weaker” club in terms of name and brand
This is not football manager. Less than half of the above players will generate the value you have generously estimated them to potentially earn. Also, every one and their mother knows that Leao wants out, and the club wants the rest out so no, Fikayo tomori will not be bought for 17M. Ditto for Isma, fofana and RLC. The only ones i see going for anything close to your expectations are Gimenez and Chuk. The rest are a headache and a drain on the books until their contracts run out or agree to mutually terminate. As for Leao, he basically devalued himself with those boneheaded pressers and lost any goodwill he may still have had with Cardinale so either Galatasary for a paid loan and 30 Million option to buy or he will ride that bench till kingdom come. Possibly even go to the Futuro which he honestly doesn’t even deserve considering his attitude the second half of last season. The entire group above will not raise 100m. Unfortunate but true..
Sealamearcus should not be sold, rather, he should be made the PLAYMAKER of the team going forward.
The team must have strong players who will run in the defensive part of the game and we certainly don’t expect such players to dribble like Ronaldinho. But I still think they should at least know the basics. Receive the ball and deliver a more or less accurate pass to the player closest to them! I’m not sure that Fofana has mastered that segment of the game by the end. He had his moments but I think this is the best option.
