AC Milan are in the market for a striker this summer and one with a lot of Serie A experience has just become available. Perhaps, there could be a chance.
In recent years, it has been a case of when not if Milan would be linked to Romelu Lukaku. Whenever the Belgian been available, the links to the Rossoneri have quickly followed, but they have either never taken the bait or been too late to move.
The latest case of this was when he was leaving Roma. However, he and Antonio Conte leapt at the chance to work together again and he headed to Naples.
Things have gone sour, though. He reported for training later than expected, leading the club to publish a statement. Following that, the relationship has never rekindled and it appears that he could depart in a few months.
Lukaku back to Lombardy?
This afternoon, the situation was confirmed to be done, with Matteo Moretto reporting that he is available, and he suggested that the Diavolo could be interested, as @Garante_Il relays on X.
“Lukaku will leave Napoli at the end of the season. He would gladly return to Milan. The Inter side is closed off. Milan is looking for a striker. I’m not saying there are negotiations or contacts, we’ll see if perhaps Lukaku could be proposed to Milan in the coming weeks.”

Moreto gave a statement, it’s probability to happen is around 1%. He also said it ‘could’ happen, that means, he is giving probability about 1/10 that it will happen, that gives us 0.1% total probability that Lukaku will end up in Milan, and im asking you editors, do you really need to write such articles??
If everything Moreto said come true, we would have 20 strikers, 10 left backs, about 40 defenders and 50 midfielders. And 0 goalies.

He’s ticked off two clubs who wanted him out. Chelsea paid big bucks for him and still wanted him gone. At Napoli I thought Conte was a supporter. He’s got talent, but will only last two years before the next hissy fit.
