AC Milan remain in negotiations over the sale of Yunus Musah, and next week will be crucial for the potential closure.
After Tijjani Reijnders, Milan’s midfield could see another exit in Musah, who has ended up in the sights of Antonio Conte’s Napoli. Matteo Moretto spoke on Fabrizio Romano ‘s YouTube channel and gave an update on the deal.

“On the way out we told you about Napoli’s interest in Musah: it’s a hot lead, still alive. I expect the two clubs to talk again next week,” he said (via MilanNews).
“I told you how the deal wasn’t imminent, I told you about days: in the next few days Milan and Napoli will try to find an agreement on the final amount of the deal and there’s good harmony.
“The parties want to try to close this type of deal: Musah is not central to Milan’s project at the moment and for Conte and Napoli he is a player who can become very interesting in the future.
“What I know is that over the next week there will be new contacts between clubs and the figure they are talking about, including bonuses, is always 25-26 million euros. We will then see if the expected contacts will be profitable or not.”
An agreement has been close between Milan and Napoli for a few days now as per previous reports. However, there is a sticking point with the two clubs still discussing the figures.
Musah has already agreed to a contract, it is believed. Yesterday, Gianluca Di Marzio spoke about how Napoli have no intentions of being part of an auction and that they believe €25m is a fair offer for him.

But what pressure in Milan do those younger player with potential is that they can’t grow – but becomes totally unusable.

Selling him is good for player who we might seen as new Charles. Milan will only show 10- 12 od capital gain by this business.

Conte prefers Lukaku to Osimhen and has a history of falling out with big names. Anguisa wasn’t a bad player, he was an average player. If Conte was the genius you think he was, he’d win league titles in seasons in which his teams were in Europe and do better in the UCL. His teams run hard. That is all there is to them. They’re just as dull as he was as a player.
He seems like the perfect Allegri midfielder. Can run and is useless going forward. Ideal to park the bus and chase opposing teams. And carry the ball to someone who can play football. I am actually surprised Allegri is letting him go. He loved Mckeny or whatever his name used to be.
It could be that Allegri values him, and may not be against having him of the roster.

He is only 21, has the physique but needs better decision making. If he gets that right he can become a very good player.
The problem is that he is on the same level as 2022 World cup. He needs a coach and team structure that can develop his abilities.
We need results now so don’t see him staying.

This probably means the deal fell through. Classic case of being too greedy. Anything above 12m you should automatically take for him but to cover your end put in a sell on clause.
