AC Milan are looking to bolster their squad with a striker this summer, aiming for an Olivier Giroud-esque player, and several high-profile No.9s are on their radar.
Last season, Milan had Alvaro Morata, Tammy Abraham and Luka Jovic at their disposal up front. Then, the Spaniard was swapped out for Santiago Gimenez, who arrived from Feyenoord during the January window. The Mexican is now also the only remaining striker in the squad.

Jovic’s contract expired at the end of June, while Abraham returned to Roma as his loan came to an end. As such, a striker is needed before the start of next season and Igli Tare is working on the matter, as highlighted by Matteo Moretto in one of his latest videos.
Moretto’s words on the No.9 role
“Regarding Nico Jackson, Milan had new contacts today to try to delve deeper into the financial aspect of the deal. It’s difficult, but Nico Jackson has been a Milan obsession for some time. And today, Milan tried to delve a little deeper into the nuances of this situation.

“There have been discussions, but the operation remains very complicated. For Chelsea, he’s a player who can leave the club, but only on their terms. Let’s see if Milan can actually reach these conditions. Two days ago, I told you that it’s a very, very complicated negotiation financially, and we’ll see if there are any openings in this direction.
“Mateta is a name that remains on the shortlist, along with Dusan Vlahovic and Victor Boniface, even though he is a very difficult profile financially. Mateta is a name that Allegri is certainly evaluating. Thanks to his characteristics, he’s an intriguing profile,” he said as transcribed by MilanNews.

Lucca shoukd be the one considering his price point and then hopefully next year we can bring Camarda firmly into the fold with a view to give him at least half the games available to us
FFS, stay away from Jackson, he will be a massive liability. Stop acting as a feeder club for Chelsea rejects. They reject them for a reason.
Bring a good & reliable striker please. Why are you always lagging behind
It’s so obvious, we need serie A experience and alternative style to Gimenez, Lucca ticks all the boxes, also Piccoli or Pinamonti….why are we constantly looking at foreigners, we have plenty as it is, some of the names we are linked with are laughable, Serie A is not the Belgian league
Trust in Gimenez, get Lucca as an alternative and keep Colombo as back up. Save spending 50m on some foreigner and invest in LB, RB and not some nobody Archie from Belgian league, it’s not rocket science, we have failed miserably with a team of foreigners, get some balance back
Osimhen would be Perfect. If Galatasaray can get him so should we. Give Napoli 50+Musah and give Osimhen 8 million every season and we got our new nr 9. If he still produce 20+ goals every season then Milan can sell him for over 100 million when Camarda is ready.
Correct
Why do we always bring up osimhen’s name?
And has Lucca not agreed a contract with Napoli already?
Let’s see how much quality we can find for around 30mil.
Often injured Boniface? Check.
Vlaho? No wait, he wants to much…
Who else we got? Guirassy? Uhm… he was 18mil last season but we got Emerson…. odd.
Who else? Oh is that it? Wait something doesn’t compute…
