An update has arrived regarding AC Milan’s pursuit of a new centre-back and a West Ham United defender has been offered to them, a report claims.
Milan are currently in crisis at the back with Marco Pellegrino (whose return is close), Pierre Kalulu, Malick Thiaw and Mattia Caldara are all out injured, leaving only Simon Kjaer and Fikayo Tomori.
According to what is being reported by Matteo Moretto of Relevo, Milan want to strengthen the defence by signing a new centre-back in January and they are studying various solutions, in addition to the possible return of Matteo Gabbia from his loan spell in Villarreal.
In recent days, West Ham’s German centre-back Thilo Kehrer was offered to the management, though Moretto does not add whether he is a profile that is deemed interesting to the Rossoneri.
For Clément Lenglet, Milan only asked for information, and it is an ‘economically complex operation’ given he is Barcelona-owned but is on loan at Aston Villa.
