AC Milan are attempting to sign two talented youngsters from FC Copenhagen during the summer in the hopes of building a stronger squad for the future, a report claims.
As has been reported by Milan Press, the Rossoneri are looking very closely at William Clem and Roony Bardghji.
Clem is an 18-year-old central midfielder that Milan think could play in a very similar role to Ismael Bennacer for the club in the future, due to having very similar assets.
He has played 16 league games for Copenhagen this season and also appeared twice in the Champions League.
Bardghji is a right winger who is currently only 17 years old. He grabbed three goals and one assist during the regular Superliga season and has also made a couple of appearances in the Champions League group stage.
They are two areas of the squad where Milan need more depth, although they would not necessarily make an immediate impact.
are there no good talents from the milan academy itself??
Many. Bozzolan and Casali both need the Rico Lewis treatment next season. They won’t get it though…
Still waiting for a decent run for chaka, even if good they get no opportunities
maybe nopioli can’t find someone in prima
As I explained the other day here on sempremilan there hasnt been these rumors here in denmark besides that there in january had been rumors of interest from abroad nevertheless but nothing mentioning ac milan.
If these rumors are concrete it would seem to stem through some leaks or speculation in italy.
Both talented players but i do believe that both propably would do themselves a favour staying there for a year or two more there as they will be guaranteed playing regularly and could potentially play cl after the summer as copenhagen just won the championship.
In the end offers from ac milan doesnt arrive on a daily basis so the players might have a difficut time rejecting such offers as they might not arrive again.
I doubt there’s anything in this necessarily, but looking at the Brighton and Chelsea model for making money off players, buying them in, loaning them out immediately or even leaving them with the clubs they came from on loan and then being able to sell or integrate them in two or three years is the way Milan have to start looking at the market.
If there is anything to it, hopefully they stay another year or go somewhere else for first team football.
If we had enough money to sort out present issues in the squad and still get them i would have no glaring issues letting them stay there for a year or two but unfortunately that doesnt really seems like it would be the case.
My guess is that both currently propably would cost a combined 10 mil or something as they are both very young but in a few years it will be a whole lot more and both are propably destined to become international players for denmark and sweden.
Complete rumors. A 18 y/o and a 17 y/o Missing out on playing regularly and in UCL for being 4th option in Milan bench? yeah suuuure. Who on earth would be $tupid enough for that? Sad but true is.. we aren’t that big of a deal yet.
