Marco Landucci will be the head coach in Milan’s dugout tomorrow as Massimiliano Allegri will be serving a one-game suspension. In short, Mr 100% is back.
When Allegri signed his contract with Milan, thus confirming his return to the club, we all knew that he would wear his heart on his sleeve. In the manager’s case, this often means getting into heated discussions during games, which sometimes results in red cards.

This is exactly what happened in Milan-Como a few days ago, when he (rightfully, we should add) confronted the Como staff for interfering with play. Before that, Allegri was also sent off against Bologna and Lazio.
Impressive record
Tomorrow, Allegri’s trusted assistant Marco Landucci will be in charge for the fifth time this season. Three games due to the red cards mentioned, and two games due to an old Coppa Italia ban that Allegri received during his time at Juventus.
So far, the 61-year-old’s record has been amazing with the Rossoneri: four games, four wins, eleven goals scored, and just two goals conceded, hence Mr 100%. I have listed all of the games below, in case you are interested.
- Milan 2-0 Bari (Coppa Italia)
- Udinese 0-3 AC Milan (Serie A)
- Milan 3-0 Lecce (Coppa Italia)
- Torino 2-3 Milan (Serie A)
Let’s hope that this positive run continues tomorrow, as Milan really need the three points to at least keep the Scudetto dream alive (and put pressure on Inter).
