Mundo Deportivo: Barcelona consider Milan defender an option – PSG, Man Utd and Spurs also keen

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan defender Alessio Romagnoli has been offered to Barcelona by his agent Mino Raiola, according to a report.

Mundo Deportivo writes that Romagnoli is ‘gaining strength’ as an option to reinforce the centre-back department for Barcelona, especially because he has only one year left on his contract, so the Rossoneri would agree to negotiate a fee in order to avoid losing him for free.

Romagnoli has for now rejected Milan’s proposal to extend his contract meaning he could depart for an ‘affordable’ price, and during talks between Barcelona and Raiola over Haaland’s future the agent offered Romagnoli to the Catalan side.

Barça dreamed of centre-backs such as Pau Torres, Koundé or De Ligt but economic limitations may force them to bet on a plan B. However, they are not the only team that have their eyes on Romagnoli, which is also followed by various teams such as Manchester United, PSG and Tottenham.
