Mundo Deportivo: Sevilla eye move for defender as capital gain entices Milan

By Isak Möller -

AC Milan right-back Davide Calabria, who was linked with a move to Sevilla already in January, is now reportedly back on their radar. As the Rossoneri are willing to consider a sale, the transfer could materialize.

According to Mundo Deportivo, Sevilla need to reinforce the right-back position as they only have Jesus Navas available. The latter will turn 34 in November and although he’s still in good physical shape, a player is needed for the future.

Calabria’s agent, Alessandro Lucci, maintains good relations with the Spanish side after having done some operations, such as Luis Muriel and Joaquin Correa. This could favour the arrival of the Italian defender, who would guarantee a full capital gain for Milan.

Since football was resumed, Calabria hasn’t played a single minute in the league, although he made an appearance in the Coppa Italia game against Juventus. It remains to be seen if Sevilla will present an offer for the 32-year-old.
