Mundo Deportivo: Milan-linked striker offered to Barcelona amid his father’s wish

In recent days, AC Milan have been linked with Marcus Thuram as they are looking to sign a striker in the summer. The Frenchman’s contract will expire then but unfortunately, that has resulted in hefty competition.

Milan are on the verge of renewing Olivier Giroud’s contract but they also know that a younger player will be needed for the future. Noah Okafor seems to be the main target, as per Gazzetta Dello Sport, but Thuram is also on the list.

This was reported by the newspaper five days ago (read here), but it seems the current Mönchengladbach striker will remain just a dream. According to Mundo Deportivo, Thuram’s agents have offered the player to Barcelona and many other teams are interested as well.

The striker’s father, former player Lilian Thuram, hasn’t made it a secret that he wants his son to join Barcelona in the summer. In spite of their financial situation, as the report concludes, it’s a deal that interests them a lot.
