Yunus Musah has arrived to undergo his medical ahead of a move to join Atalanta on an initial loan deal from AC Milan.
MilanNews report that on deadline day morning Musah is undergoing his medical checks with Atalanta. The American will head there on a €4m paid loan with a €25m option to buy and a 10% resale clause in the Rossoneri’s favour.

Musah’s exit is one of a few moves that Milan are expected to make on deadline day, and Adrien Rabiot is set to arrive from Marseille to be his replacement in the midfield department, at least as per reports this morning.

If these numbers holds up then that’s one hell of a deal for Musah, hopefully he passes his medicals but the management really deserves some credit here.
I’d say we get the loan fee and see him back next summer. Then he’ll be worth half as he will be well exposed.
Should have just taken 15-20m cash and got rid imo.
Now Jimenez, that is a loss!
As I already mentioned further down that I had read it as an obligation as I was a bit tired but its a possibility that he wont be sold but I also saw yesterday that Milan would renew his contract with a year before making this deal so it doesn’t seem like it would be a huge risk. In the end if he is sold for 25mil + loan for 4mil + 10% resale it would most likely extend to above 30 mil for Musah which in my view is more than what I would have expected.
This is great news to wake up to! Did anything happen with Chukwueze?

Relinquishing control of a player to Atalanta without any obligations – it’s an absolute win-win for them, for a player who cost us very little to have on the books and appeared to be our only cover at RWB.
I read it as an obligation as I’m still a bit drowsy after wakening up but still we are letting go of a player that basically has been a concrete block around our legs for two years minus a handful of matches. Certainly not a bad deal anyways considering they are paying 4 mil for the loan and in the event he actually do explode as a player and gets sold we will still get 10% of a future sale.
Does anyone know what the conditions of the deal are to make the option, into an obligation? Like number of appearances or Atalanta qualifying for Europe?
As I implied I was a bit tired when I read the news so it seems its just an option.
I did nevertheless read yesterday that Milan would renew his contract with a year so even if he isn’t bought his value shouldn’t plummit.
Either way glad we wont have to deal with him this year.
The problem is the deal is optional. Wait until he plays.
LOL!!! Exactly! We won’t be this happy next summer.
As far as I am concerned Musa should have gone long time ago because to me Musa’s contribution to the team on the field of play is always next to nothing because he keeps himself busy on the field running up and down with the ball with out any direction, musa never score goals,he doesn’t make assist,he and Fofana remains the only players in Milan’s first eleven that didn’t score a goal through out last season
😂🤣🤣🤣
