Musah implores Milan to show ‘personality’ and to be ‘more attentive’

AC Milan midfielder Yunus Musah believes that the team need to take that chances that they create, as well as be ‘more attentive’ on the defensive end.

It was a tough evening for Milan against Paris Saint-Germain as they were unable to get anything going at either end, with Kylian Mbappe, Randal Kolo Muani and Kang-In Lee each scoring in a 3-0 loss for the Rossoneri.

Milan were once again let down by their finishing in the attacking phase while defensively they conceded a goal to Mbappe and then proceeded to allow repeated counter-attacking situations which played right into the Parisians’ hands.

Musah was interviewed by Milan TV and he gave his immediate reaction to the performance, with his comments relayed by MilanNews.

“Speaking to Christian [Pulisic] he is disappointed, he feels a bit bad about the missed chance. The good thing is that we are getting to these positions to score goals, but we are missing scoring,” he said.

What is missing?

“Being more attentive, like the second goal, and we’re still in the match.”

How do the team move forward?

“Continue playing with personality, be even more attentive. Now we need the points.”

Milan are bottom of the group with no wins in their three games and no goals scored, making qualification for the last 16 difficult.
