Yunus Musah came off the bench and was one of the best players for AC Milan against Newcastle. After the game, the midfielder shared his thoughts on what was a disappointing draw for the Rossoneri.
Stefano Pioli’s men created several chances and arguably should have found the back of the net against the English side. The latter, it should be added, had just one shot on target the entire game.
Speaking to Sky Italia, as cited by MilanNews, Musah shared his thoughts on the draw and what went wrong for Milan. He was one of the best Rossoneri players, getting a 6.5/10 (the highest given out tonight) in our player ratings.

Musah will most likely play from start in Milan’s game against Hellas Verona at the weekend, replacing Ruben Loftus-Cheek in the midfield. A change that was expected even before the Englishman’s injury this evening.
I liked how he played. We should really be transitioning him into the Krunic role much faster. He has pace to do other things Krunic is limited in doing and which I saw this game. All he needs to get right is the positioning and tactical awareness

???? I thought the whole idea around Musah was to also fill the role of Krunic. Yes Krunic’s position could be upgraded but right now he’s the best for the role..it’s why it’s imperative to transition someone else into the role for cover or if it goes well perhaps replace him. Remember he was the backup for Kessie, Tonali and Bennacer. We’ve lost all of those players and bought a bunch new so he’s filling in quite well

Giroud need to rest.. leao need to rest also..I was expecting him to take the two player off immediately..Yet both player 90 mins..You can’t win matches with someone like krunic as your midfielder and Krunic as your striker..Milan need someone that can hold the ball and run with the ball.. fast football.. you can’t play 4.33 when you don’t have good midfielders and good striker that can hold the ball for 5 second.. Please we need new coach with game plan..He need to be sack
I agree with the rotation part. We badly need to rotate more. I saw Giroud in pain a couple of times and wondered if he was going to go down tbh. Some players should get more minutes and some more rest. Look at how fresh Tomori looked
Because pioli is too dependant to certain players. In his mind if he wants to win he has to play leao, theo, giroud

Personally I’d like to see Musah spell RLC and TR. Let Pobega spell Krunic. We need his size and physicality while Krunic will need a rest.
At the point, tho I love Giroud I am hoping he sits with Zlatan in the crowd this weekend. Okafur and Jovic need some time.
Pioli said it himself, “Play too many games …” He has the ability to control some of this. Time for him to show he knows how/when to exert such control.

We were the better team .I thought we played well ..Rafeo leao ..he is very good player ,but who over does things ..holding onto the ball too long instead of delivering a cross .he lost the ball so many times as a result
Olivier Giroud,did well against a very physical team .He didn’t score ,but he had chances .you say rest him I say no.not In the next game which we can win by a good margin .3 or 4 goals to nil
