Yunus Musah is not too alarmed despite AC Milan’s defeat against Benfica last night, insisting only ‘small details’ must be fixed.
For the second game in a row, Milan fell 2-0 behind after quite a worrying performance in the first 60 minutes. However, unlikely the game at the weekend against Lazio, there was to be no comeback this time as Benfica emerged with the three points.

Ruben Amorim was typically honest in his post-match assessments, admitting that he might need to adapt because there are players in his squad that don’t fit his ideas, which has led to an overall lack of organisation and clarity on the field.
Musah spoke in the mixed zone after the final whistle last night and he answered questions from the journalists who gathered there, with MilanNews transcribing what he had to say.
Is it just a case of having details to improve?
“We’ll have to fix some small details, especially when we have the ball. We should have kept Benfica in their own penalty area. There aren’t many things to change, but they’re just small details.”

You’re back here on Sunday against Lecce…
“We’ll work with our heads held high as always. Now we’re thinking about Lecce because we want to go into the break with a win.”
It seems that early mistakes are costly…
“It’s true, as I said before, these details make the difference. Today they hurt us on the counter-attack. We’ll work on this. We’ve played against great teams, it’s normal that they also have chances and can sometimes score. We’ll study the game and our mistakes better.”

What details, we didn’t have a single decent opportunity against Benfica’s B-side. This mid-table mentality from the players is exactly why we are never going back to the top, it will never happen unless the people on the field change their way of thinking. Sadly, some of them, including this guy, are nowhere near this level.
Every time milan loses someone comes out and say we will learn from the game and correct our mistakes. The next game same thing happen.
