Head coach Julian Nagelsmann has revealed that RB Leipzig are in talks over a permanent deal for Milan target Patrik Schick and want to keep him.
Luca Marchetti told Sky Italia (via MilanNews) on Monday night that Rangnick has specifically asked for three Bundesliga players in view of his new adventure in Italy, one of whom is Schick.
Calciomercato.com then added on Wednesday that Schick is indeed a target for the Rossoneri, with the management desperate to give Rangnick the attacking firepower necessary to make his transition to Serie A as seamless as possible, while Tuttosport (via MilanNews) also reported Milan’s interest.
According to what journalist Ronan Murphy has tweeted, Nagelmann addressed the future of Angelino and Patrik Schick at a press conference ahead of RB Leipzig’s last game of the season.
“The clubs are in talks and there is still nothing new to report. I would prefer it would be different, but it is not. Of course we would like to keep them,” he said.
Il Corriere dello Sport on Tuesday (via MilanLive) claimed that Roma are ready to sell Schick to the highest bidder. Talks have started with Tottenham, but at the moment the London club are not keen on paying the €25million asking price, with Everton and Newcastle more interested.
